A company’s course for the future can become derailed through external influences or internal conflicts. An effective culture meaningfully rewards innovation and execution. It keeps the organization’s members efforts unified, focused on the corporations values, strategies, and practices. Leadership, organizational structure, compensation systems, and much more defines and shapes a corporate culture. If an effective culture does not exist, the Mountain group can work alongside management to understand the core issues, the consequences of culture and to facilitate a change.
Our Approach
We start projects involving culture with an informal, independent, assessment of the organization to determine its congruence with the company’s current situation. This assessment may include an appraisal of key personnel , employee survey’s, compensation program evaluation, look at reporting practices, or consideration of organizational structure.
After identifying possible performance inhibitors, we engage management in a frank discussion on issues and concerns through structured reviews. Following these discussions key areas for change are highlighted. We then will prepare recommendations on recommended steps to be taken to implement these changes. These recommendations often include coaching of key managers, team building exercises, workshops, or other similar steps. We work with a variety of associated consultants in these steps.
